Cherry Street Sports is home of Ballina Bowling Club, welcoming both seasoned bowlers and newcomers. Our greens have been part of the Ballina community for generations and remain a place to relax and connect. From pennant competition and club bowls to casual roll ups and barefoot days, there is something for every level. Thursday Night Jackpot Triples is our weekly under-lights triples competition at Ballina Bowling & Recreation Club – social, fast-paced and open to all skill levels.
Format: Triples (team entry only)
Cost: $45 per team (includes green fees and jackpot)
Time: Cards called 5:30pm, games start 6pm
Entries: Close 4.30pm each Thursday
Each week a jackpot builds up to $1,000. After play, a random winning margin is drawn – if your team’s winning margin matches, you win the jackpot. If not, a Lucky Rink prize is awarded.
Game Rules
16 ends or 8pm finish – whichever comes first
No dead ends – jack is re-spotted on the T
Short or out-of-bounds jacks are placed legally by the opposing skip
No umpires – disputes are resolved by neighbouring rinks
Game is official once 8 ends are completed
